I love to illustrate. As you can see, I have a simple but loveable style. My illustrations cater to the needs of K-6 children.
The link below is for a children's picture book that I created and hope to have published within the next year.

Photo Shoot of DC
In October of 2010, I decided to create the backbone illustrations for a new children's book. I took the Polaroid camera that my Dad bought for me many years before and the last of the film that he had and took pictures of the some of the popular features of Wahington DC. I recreated these as 15" x 19" enlargements of Polaroid pictures. It was a very enjoyable experience getting to know DC and its features through the use of watercolor and pen.
I enrolled these into the 15th annual Art on the Avenue in Alexandria, Virginia. They are now hanging in Love Cafe on 1501 U Street NW. Please go by and see them when you can.

Maestro Learning, Inc.
As an illustrator, I look for opportunities to use my artists skill in the creation of educational media. During the winter of 2006, I had the opportunity to do contract work for Maestro Learning, Inc. located in Watertown, MA. These illustrations are interfaces to different types of educational games to be released by the company. They are designed to teach children between K-3rd grade language arts skills. |
